Mini-Meal Ideas



Cup of mixed vegetable soup from the "Enjoy" list with a whole wheat roll.


Low-fat cheese/cottage cheese savoury spread on celery stalks.


Fresh fruit salad with a glass of low-fat milk.


2 slices of lean ham with a cup of melon.


Half cup low-fat cottage cheese with berries (strawberries, blackberries or raspberries).


1 egg (hardboiled) over toasted whole wheat bread.


100% whole grain bread, low-fat mayonnaise (scant) topped with a slice of lettuce, low-fat cheese, tomato and onion.  Salt & pepper to taste.


1 cup low-fat yoghurt (unsweetened) with berries (strawberries, blackberries or raspberries).


1 slice whole wheat bread (plain or toasted) with one slice of lean ham or cheese.  Add onions, salsa, mustard or pickles as condiments, if desired.


1 small fruit with low-fat cheese of your choice.


Slice of low-fat mozarella cheese topped with fresh tomato and a sprinkle of oreganum, melted under the grill.


Any salad made with vegetables from the "Enjoy" list (using low-kilojoule salad dressing)
